HFI is moving to inovallée science park

HFI moves to more modern and spacious premises in the heart of inovallée science park in Meylan. This move is an essential step in our development plan and will allow the company to achieve a level of accelerated development. The new premises, will make easier the achievement of expected growth, and enable the implementation of new human and material resources for our study, R & D and production.
inovallée is the first science park in France whose ambition is to encourage the connection between Industry and Research. It overlaps the towns of Meylan and Montbonnot at the heart of the Alpes valley on a surface of 1,100,000m². Today, the park is home to 320 high-tech companies and boasts 10,000 jobs.

Motorola DMR - Telephone interface

The new DMR-PBX unit allows connection of Motorola DMR radio network to a PSTN line. It requires the release 1.8 of Motorola software, and the Phone Patch license for the DMR repeater. HFI ConfGPC software which runs under Windows, can be used to configure this new module.
Indoor and Outdoor localisation using handheld Kenwood NEXEDGE radios

HFI has launched a new option board for Kenwood NEXEDGE handheld radio (NX200, NX300). This RF800K board allows indoor localisation using HF beacons, outdoor localisation using GPS, and lone worker safety. HFI has developed software that allows visualisation of location on a plan of the industrial site and detection of worker safety alarms.

A New Radio Interface for Micromedia-International Alert software: the new Alert HFI driver indicates the location of alarms from Kenwood radios. These radios are fitted with NextEdge option cards designed for indoor location by HFI.
